About Me
Operations is my background and it's changing quickly. I spent two years as Convictional's Research Technical Lead, getting my hands dirty with language modelling and agents, and am now most interested in helping teams make use of them in practice. I view AI as a tool that humans can leverage to automate the rote and menial aspects of their job, allowing them to focus their creativity, judgement and taste on the parts of the job that matter most to them.
This site is where I write about it and share projects as I go. I trained in math (MSc, Commutative Algebra). When not in front of a computer, I'm probably with my family in Kitchener/Waterloo, at our cottage, playing hockey or golf, or off on a motorcycle ride somewhere.
